We often discuss different ways to make Ramona’s Reach in Pamora self-sustaining. Some of the things we have done/are doing are: tailoring school, tree farm, garden project, soap making, and custom hauling with our dump truck that we previously had.
One thing that we have recently been working on is creating a goat farm. We have just over one acre of land that Jonathan has been fencing over the last week. Soon we will purchase 6 female and 1 male goat to use as a starter herd, eventually growing the herd to around 40. As more goats are born, we plan to sell them and use the profits to support Ramona’s Reach.

About Us

Ramona’s Reach began as a dream in the mind of Ramona Reimer. Having worked with children in Haiti, Ramona’s dream was to work at an orphanage somewhere in Africa. Sadly, she lost her life in 2009 at age 26, after fighting cancer for three and a half years. Her family continued her dream through amazing circumstances and have been building a faith-based orphanage and education centre in Pamora, Uganda ever since.
